Opus Dei

To work better, to help people work and to provide work for others. These are the aims that have given rise to the Eastland Project, an initiative in which students, managers of small or middle size firms, and persons with very limited resources improve their own prospects of financial growth.

Opus Dei began in Britain in December 1946. The first centre was set up in Rutland Court and soon after moved to Netherhall House in Hampstead. Later the first women's centre was set up on the same site in 1952.

In Britain there are Opus Dei centres in London, Oxford, Manchester and Glasgow. The addresses of the main centres are given below.
