
Papal Blessing for the Fourth Edition of the Navarro-Valls Award
“Invoking the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Josemaría,” Pope Leo XIV sent his apostolic blessing to the participants in the fourth edition of the Navarro-Valls Award. The event took place on Tuesday 23 June in the Sala della Protomoteca at the Capitoline Museums.

Between kilometres of cycling, the pages of his books and his daily rounds, Fernando has come to realise that the most urgent and valuable delivery a person can make will never fit into any envelope: it’s time spent caring for others.
Forty Years of “Romana”

The 81st issue, from June-December 2025, marks the 40th anniversary of “Romana.” The official bulletin of the Prelature of Opus Dei was published for the first time in 1986, reporting on the year 1985.

He was the oldest member of Opus Dei, having lived his vocation in the Work for just over 86 years, and the last of those who had requested admission in the 1930s. He died in Rome, and his remains rest in the crypt of the prelatic church of Our Lady of Peace.
