Montse was declared "venerable" by Pope Francis on April 26, 2016. Drawing from a variety of materials, a new documentary is being prepared to better explain who Montse was, through photos and videos of her life as well as personal stories from her family and friends.

Another step towards Montse’s Beatification, with the Decree on her heroic virtues and recent favours obtained through her intercession.

Pope Francis declared Montse Grases “venerable” one year ago. During a recent commemorative meeting in Rome, a number of people confirmed that her beatification process is continuing to make progress.

Fr Francisco Faus has written this Novena to enable readers – especially young people – to get to know Montse Grases better and to ask her intercession for favours.

We decided to organise a Montse Day during which the different classes would put up presentations on different aspects of Montse’s life.

Montse Grases (1941-1959) was recently declared venerable by Pope Francis. She loved to swim, ride a bicycle, play tennis, and hike in the mountains. With a group of friends her own age, Montse spent her summer vacations in Seva, a small town in the foothills of a mountain range north of Barcelona.
