Nathalie, Cooperator of Opus Dei

Nathalie lives in a rural district of Canada with her husband and eight children. When told by doctors that her youngest child would be born with a severe genetic disorder, she confronted the situation with great faith in God.

Guadalupe: Beatification

Born in Madrid, Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri met Saint Josemaria in 1944 and decided to dedicate her life to finding God in her professional work and spreading the message of the universal call to holiness. With initiative and trust in God, she helped many people find joy, through her work teaching chemistry, her close friendships with people of all walks of life, and through the centers of Christian formation, including domestic work and by promoting social projects. She will be beatified on May 18, 2019.

In 1950, Saint Josemaria asked Guadalupe to help start Opus Dei's apostolic work in Mexico. With initiative and trust in God, she helped many people find joy, through her work, her close friendships, and through the centers of Christian formation, including domestic work and by promoting social projects.
