Eight years after her death, Bishop Javier Echevarría presided at the opening of the canonical process on the life and virtues of Dora del Hoyo, the first numerary assistant in Opus Dei.

Guadalupe Ortiz de Landazuri was born in Madrid, on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 12 December 1916, and died in Pamplona on 16 July 1975. She was beatified on 18 May 2019, in Madrid.
