Laura Busca (1913 - 2000) was the mother of seven children, with a degree in pharmacology and a great love for study and reading. After a long illness, she died in Pamplona, with a reputation for sanctity, on October 11, 2000. The Archbishop of Pamplona closed the diocesan phase of her Cause of Canonization on June 22, 2015. The Canonization Cause of her husband, Eduardo Ortíz de Landázuri, a prestigious doctor and university professor, was opened in December 1998.
