A week after the beatification of Blessed Guadalupe in Madrid on 18 May 2019, a Mass of Thanksgiving was held in London. The chief concelebrant was Mgr Nicholas Morris, Regional Vicar of Opus Dei in Britain. Among those in the congregation were members of Opus Dei’s Regional Advisory and Regional Commission in Britain.

An exhibition depicting the life of the new Blessed ‒ the first layperson of the Opus Dei prelature to be beatified ‒ was on display in the narthex of the church. “Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that so many of the Novenas and prayercards would be taken”, the organizer of the exhibition commented.
