26 June 2009 was the 34th anniversary of the death of St Josemaría Escrivá, the founder of Opus Dei, in 1975. Public Masses in honour of St Josemaría were celebrated in London, where there were several Masses, in Glasgow, Manchester, Oxford, and some other places.
