Besides being her feast day, May 18th is the first anniversary of the beatification of Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri.

An extensive biography of the life of Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri, the result of two years of research by Mercedes Equibar Galarza, is now available in English.

Guadalupe's third "formula" for holiness is about building the base of one's spiritual life around the Eucharist, praying to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

“An hour of study, for a modern apostle, is an hour of prayer” ("The Way," 335). Blessed Guadalupe took this advice from Saint Josemaria to heart. She is now in Heaven, thanks to sanctifying her ordinary life, including her studies and professional work.
