On 18 May 2019, the chemist and researcher Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri (1916-1975) was beatified in Madrid. In a letter read during the ceremony, Pope Francis called her an example of the "holiness of 'normality.'"
On the occasion of the first anniversary of her beatification, from 7 pm to 8 pm (Spain time: GMT+2), a live webcam from the Oratory of the Knight of Grace in Madrid will allow people to pray before Blessed Guadalupe's tomb. At 8 pm, a Mass will be celebrated in Spanish at the same site, which will be broadcast through this website and the official YouTube, Instagram and Facebook channels.
