Ulf and Brigitta Ekman talk about their long path to the Catholic Church in this conference during the IX Symposium of St. Josemaría - Faith and Society in Jaén, Spain in November 2018. When John Paul II visited Sweden in 1989, Ulf Ekman was a Lutheran pastor praying for God to protect his country from Catholicism. He joined the Catholic Church in 2014 and, when Pope Francis visited his country (in 2016) he prayed for the trip to contribute to interfaith dialogue, in humility and charity.

In his 18 January general audience, Pope Francis continued his catechetical cycle on apostolic zeal, speaking about Jesus as the model for evangelization.

After about thirty years of his first encounter, Fr. Idahosa still relishes the short sayings of "The Way". Recently he read the 999 points afresh, during 87 days, with an online group on WhatsApp called Cell Word Sharing. The group which has up to 673 members promotes the reading of spiritual books. Saturday 17th December 2022 was D-Day for a families’ get-together, hosted by the Musyokis’ at their residence in Kyumbi area of Machakos County (Kenya). The get-together had been organized by people from Machakos, and their families, who attend means of formation.
