34 Future Priests

On Saturday, 3rd of November, 34 faithful of Opus Dei from 16 countries will receive the diaconate in the Roman basilica of St. Eugene. Their priestly ordination will be next May 4th.

The bishop who will ordain the new deacons is Archbishop Celso Morga, of Mérida-Badajoz (Spain).

The ceremony will take place at 10.30 am at the Basilica of St. Eugene (Viale delle Belle Arti, 10, Rome). Unlike priestly ordinations, it will not be transmitted over the internet.

The 34 candidates come from Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, New Zealand, Venezuela, Chile, the United States, Kenya, France, Paraguay, El Salvador, Uganda, the Philippines, Peru and Italy. These are their names:
