As we pray for peace in the world, and in response to Pope Leo XIV's call for a united Church that becomes "leaven for a reconciled world", let us reflect on the role of the family as the primary school of unity and peace, the domestic church where we first learn—or fail to learn—the virtues of coexistence, forgiveness, and communion.
Let us ask the Holy Family of Nazareth to intercede for the healing of broken family relationships: for parents and children who have grown distant, for siblings separated by misunderstandings or resentment, for spouses struggling to rebuild trust, and for extended families divided by old wounds. May we, with God's grace, become instruments of reconciliation in our own homes, practicing the mercy of Christ in the place where it is often most difficult and most necessary, making our homes authentic signs of the love and unity that Christ desires for His Church.
