Today the Holy Father Pope Francis, in an Apostolic Letter in the form of a Motu Proprio, introduced changes to canons 295-296 concerning personal prelatures. This is an implementation of the Apostolic Constitution Praedicate Evangelium, which reorganised the Roman Curia.

We will study the consequences of these changes for the juridical configuration of Opus Dei, also in the context of the work being carried out with the Dicastery for the Clergy on the adaptation of the Statutes required by the Motu proprio Ad charisma tuendum, in a spirit of communion with the Holy Father.
