Mass kits for priests celebrating St. Josemaria Escriva’s feast day on June 26

The Mass kit, designed to help priests and parishes organize special Masses to celebrate the feast of St. Josemaria Escriva, is distributed free of charge by the St. Josemaria Institute.

The kit includes a 16”x20” framed portrait of St. Josemaria, a print of the prayers for the Mass in English and Spanish, and a copy of the new DVD, Passionately Loving the World: Ordinary Americans Living the Spirituality of St. Josemaria, among other things.

“Many people want to celebrate the life of St. Josemaria because his message brings them closer to God and makes them happy” said Rev. James Socias, President of the St. Josemaria Institute, based outside Chicago. “We are glad to provide a way of making the celebration of the Mass even more special.”

Priests and parishes around the world are ordering the St. Josemaria Feast Day Mass Kits in anticipation of St. Josemaria’s June 26 feast day.  “Orders have been arriving from across the country and around the world,” said Julie Koenig, Director of the St. Josemaria Institute. “Last week we sent a kit to a Marine Corps chaplain deployed in Iraq.”

The kits are free and donations are encouraged. They can be ordered online at www.stjosemaria.org or by calling 877-ST-JOSEMARIA (877-785-9758). The parts of the Mass can also be downloaded from the site in English and Spanish. Order must be received before June 10 (orders from outside US must be placed before June 5).

The St. Josemaria Institute was founded recently to promote the teachings and spirituality of St. Josemaria Escriva, who was declared a saint in 2002 by Pope John Paul II.
