Cardinal George to celebrate Mass at St. Mary of the Angels

St. Mary of the Angels, a parish entrusted by the Archdiocese of Chicago to the Prelature of Opus Dei, will host a novena to the Immaculate Conception starting on November 30.

Saint Mary of the Angels will host its annual Novena to the Immaculate Conception beginning Tuesday November 30th and ending on December 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Holy Mass will be celebrated every evening beginning at 7:15 pm. with a homily centered on the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary in our daily lives. Confessions will be heard throughout the evening starting at 6:45 pm. The Novena is a chance to honor the Mother of God as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of the dogma of The Immaculate Conception. His Eminence Francis Cardinal George will be the principal celebrant at the opening Mass of the Novena on Tuesday November 30th.
