Academic activities in Oxford

Students of the university have been meeting fortnightly at Grandpont House to discuss current developments and problems in different countries.

The seminars take place in the lounge of Grandpont House

University lecturers and graduate students are invited as guest speakers, and asked to describe the main challenges of the country they do research on or, in some cases, where they actually come from.

Their presentations are followed by questions and discussion. Although most of the students are doing degrees in international development, the seminars are also attracting students from a wide range of subjects.
