A Book Celebrating a Life of Purpose and Love

A new book has been written about Raheal Gabrasadig, a young doctor and member of the Work who died in 2017

Raheal Gabrasadig, a young doctor and dedicated member of the Work, passed away unexpectedly in 2017 due to a brain aneurysm. Seven years later, her life and legacy continue to inspire through a new book written in her honor.

The book, authored by Carmen Gonzalez, CEO of the WONDER Foundation, a charity Rahael supported with her professional expertise, reflects on Raheal’s extraordinary example of living an ordinary life with extraordinary love and commitment. Through her vocation as a doctor and her generosity of spirit, Raheal touched countless lives, making a difference in small but powerful ways.

Carmen writes: “Raheal was an ordinary person in the best possible way—an extraordinary professional, deeply committed to her vocation, and blessed with a huge, loving heart. Her story is about the power of one: making the world a better place through small actions.”

More than a remembrance, the book is a celebration of Raheal’s life and a call to live with purpose, kindness, and a heart open to others.

Raheal’s life is a testament to the values that members of Opus Dei strive to embody: sanctifying daily life, serving others, and growing closer to God through ordinary work. Her story is sure to inspire all who read it.
