Framed portraits of St. Josemaria Escriva are now available from the St. Josemaria Institute.

In July a team of 22 men from Australia and New Zealand travelled to the Fijian village of Navunibitu to carry out urgent maintenance and painting in a school. The project was an annual “workcamp” organized by Warrane College. The pastoral care of Warrane College, a university residence of UNSW, is entrusted to Opus Dei.

Masses in honour of St Josemaría Escrivá, the founder of Opus Dei, were celebrated in June, in London, Manchester and Paisley. The occasion was the thirty-first anniversary of his death on 26th June, 1975.

Bishop Alan Hopes was the main celebrant at a Mass in honour of St Josemaría Escrivá in London on 19 June 2006, in the church of St Thomas More, Swiss Cottage, London. This is the text of his homily.
