St. Josemaria's writings provide insight for people seeking God in ordinary life. The first book, "The Way," was published in 1939. The launch of escriva.org allows for easy access to many of the founder of Opus Dei's writings.

28 March 1925: Josemaría Escrivá Ordained a Priest

The founder of Opus Dei was ordained a priest in the chapel of his diocesan seminary. Two days later, he celebrated his first Mass in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, at the feet of the beloved Madonna he had prayed to so often.
