In preparation for the Feast of St. Josemaria, boys of Southcreek Centre club decided to do ‘something extra’ in his honour: they decided to raise funds after the June 26th Mass by selling barbecued chicken, pastries and drinks.

The 26th of June, which is the anniversary of Saint Josemaría's death in 1975, is also his feast day. Masses will be celebrated in many cities and towns in Nigeria.

In February 2013, three gentlemen who used to receive means of formation offered by Opus Dei in Nairobi relocated to Kisii. Two were cooperators of Opus Dei, the third an alumnus of the then Strathmore College. They requested to continue receiving the means of formation in Kisii, if this could be arranged.
