On 11 July, the remains of Venerable Ernesto Cofiño were transferred to the Church of Santa María Reina de la Familia, in Ciudad Cayalá (Guatemala). The faithful will now be able to visit him more easily to ask God for favors and miracles through his intercession.

Ernesto Cofiño, a pioneering Guatemalan pediatrician, was the first married member of Opus Dei in his country.
