Opus Dei

Over seven days, the Prelate of Opus Dei met with hundreds of people.

July 25 was the last full day of the Prelate's trip to Nigeria. At 9.50 am he arrived at the Institute for Industrial Technology (IIT), a social welfare project set up to provide technical skills to out-of-school young people.

There are centres for women in Abuja, Lagos, Benin, Ibadan, Iloti Village, Enugu and Nsukka.

There are currently centres for men in Lagos, Benin, Ibadan, Enugu and Nsukka.

On Tuesday July 24, the Prelate travelled from Lagos to meet other faithful of Opus Dei and their friends.

There are two retreat and conference centres in Nigeria.

Helping highly placed people to be professionally competent and virtuous have the same benefits of an ice-capped mountain, which with the appearance of the sun, melts and waters the valleys below.

With reference to the forthcoming Synod on the vocation of young persons, the Prelate held up the example of the young Apostle John, explaining that many young people have the supernatural and natural maturity to make commitments.
