Tigoni Study Centre is a conference centre located 25 kilometres from Nairobi. It hosts various activities including spiritual retreats and seminars.

I had already received several favors from the soon to be beatified nun, and I was really looking forward to seeing her made ‘Blessed’ and venerated by thousands of Kenyans. I was also preparing a mental list of intentions, big and small, to place before her on her special day.

​Eastlands College of Technology (ECT) started as Informal Sector Business Institute (ISBI) in August 2003 in a rental house in Uhuru Estate, Nairobi. It was started with the aim of uplifting the living standards of the youth in the Jua Kali sector and equip them with business skills.

On Saturday 9th May, 32 deacons from 14 countries will be ordained priest in San Eugenio Basilica in Rome at the hands of Bishop Javier Ecchevaria, Prelate of Opus Dei. Of the 32 deacons, the youngest comes from Kenya: Deacon James Mwara Njung’e. The other deacons hail from Spain, Poland, Ecuador, United States, Nigeria, Mexico, Taiwan, Brazil, Guatemala, Colombia, Austria and Argentina. We caught up with Kenyan deacon to ask him a number of questions.

Bishop Javier Echevarria has just sent a letter to his sons and daughters in Kenya through the Regional Vicar with occasion of the terrorist attack in Garissa University College. He encourages us "to forgive and to pray for those who commit such atrocities".

The month of December 2014 was quite eventful. The month was characterized by too much pressure at work amidst my master’s graduation that was scheduled for 5th to be on leave starting 1st ceremony well and recuperate after several months of hard work.

A solemn Mass in Strathmore University's chapel brought the centennial year of the birth of Blessed Alvaro del Portillo to a solemn close.

The exhibition on Don Alvaro took place on the 6th and 7th of March at the entrance of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Eldoret.
