After nearly two years of planning, a life-sized statue of St. Josemaría sculpted by Diana García Roy now welcomes visitors to St. Joseph's Church in Singapore.

17,000 people, 50 countries, 13 languages, and nearly 2,000 hours of shared reflection: that was the response to our call to “renovate the house” together as this website turns 30. Here are our main findings from the survey in April.

It’s hard to look at Jesus on the cross and hear him say, “If anyone wants to be my disciple, let him renounce himself and take up his cross every day and follow me.” Even though you’ll probably never get nailed to a cross, it sounds grim. And you may wonder whether Jesus really meant it when he also said, “Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest ... My yoke is easy and my burden light.”

The Virgin Mary left Nazareth and travelled to Capernaum with some other members of the family. The group arrived at a house where Jesus was surrounded by a crowd of disciples. He was talking to them about the Kingdom of God. There was no room for Mary to enter. She had to send a message to her Son and wait outside.

The 81st issue, from June-December 2025, marks the 40th anniversary of “Romana.” The official bulletin of the Prelature of Opus Dei was published for the first time in 1986, reporting on the year 1985.
