Isidoro Zorzano: The Art of Building a Family When Everything Falls Apart
Isidoro Zorzano was born on 13 September 1902, and was declared venerable ten years ago. He was an engineer, a friend of St. Josemaría, and one of the first members of Opus Dei. In the midst of the Spanish Civil War, though he could have found safety, he stayed in Madrid so as not to leave his own people alone. His story is a reminder that difficulties, lived with God, do not break a family apart: they help it grow.
"God's finger is here"
On August 24, 1930, Venerable Isidoro Zorzano saw that God was calling him to Opus Dei, thanks to a providential meeting with Saint Josemaría on a street in Madrid.
