30 Years of opusdei.org: Thank you for responding to the survey

Millions of people use this website to pray, read and grow in their Christian faith. More than 16,000 of them have shared their experiences to help us improve it. The survey is now closed, and the results (which will help us work to improve the website in the lead-up to the centenary) will be shared soon.

30 years ago, when opusdei.org first went live, the world was dancing to Macarena, Alanis Morissette was being Ironic, and Laura Pausini was singing her heart out. Cinemas were showing the first Mission: Impossible, together with Fargo and Space Jam. Spotify didn’t exist. Neither did YouTube, Wikipedia, or social media.

Today we live in a hyperconnected world with a million songs at our literal fingertips and AI assistants that learn along with us. Thirty years on, as St. Josemaría put it, “everything is done, and everything remains to be done.”

As we walk the path to the centenary of the Work, we want this website to feel even closer to the people who visit it: welcoming, useful, and attuned to what you need for your Christian life in the middle of the world.

And, like in any family, the important decisions are made together.

Pull up a chair

We’re not asking for much. Just five minutes, the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee or tea. The kind of time we sometimes fritter away doomscrolling, spent on something that matters.

What helps you? What’s missing? What are you looking for? Your experience matters to us, and we want it to be a living part of what this space becomes.

The more voices we hear, the better we can serve the Church and the Work.

Want to make your voice heard?
