What are the donations used for?
The contributions for a beatification and canonization cause help to cover the costs involved in making the Servant of God, Blessed or Saint more widely known, the diocesan investigation, the Roman phase and, finally, the ceremony of beatification and canonization, in accordance with the norms approved by Pope Francis on 7 March 2016. When the ceremony of canonization has taken place, the donations are destined to the spreading of the message of the new saint.
