We bring this series to a close with an invitation to the beauty of the everyday: to discover how the objects we use in daily life resonate with our interior life, to the use of "human devices" that rouse the heart when it grows distracted, and to discovering the importance of form in shaping our world in a more Christian, and therefore more beautiful, way.

How can a blind man teach us to see? Jesus chooses a man whom society has cast aside to teach us to rediscover beauty in simple things and, through it, to reach the Heart of Christ.

This is the beginning of a series on the arts as spaces for spiritual life. In this first article, we will consider how the Incarnation — the fact that God chose to take on a physical form — reveals the true value of the material world, and, with it, the potential of the arts.

We will show others the beauty of the world and of life, the way God sees them, if we discover that beauty for ourselves.
