St. Josemaria tell us that when we fight to overcome our selfishness we are helping everyone in the Church, through the Communion of Saints.

My name is Marco and I first heard of St Josemaria’s message about Christian living just over a year ago. I had stopped practicing my faith more than fifteen years before.

In the Creed, we say “I believe in Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary…” But why did God the Son become man? Why is he called Jesus Christ? What does the mystery of the Incarnation mean? Does it make sense to venerate pictures and figures of Jesus in the Crib?

A former student of the Moncloa students' residence in Madrid, Spain, re-lives his memories from a get-together there in 1972, with St Josemaria and other students.

It is now 40 years since Saint Josemaria's visit to Madrid during his catechetical trip to Spain and Portugal, in 1972.

At the end of May I gave up my job to look for one where I could specialize as a psychologist and at the same time earn my living. The first days of June I started looking, and sending my resume to very many places. I got no results, and it was getting towards the end of the month.

Barcelona, 1972. St Josemaria reminds us that Jesus is present in the Eucharist. Praying before the tabernacle with that attitude means making an act of faith.

Living a life of faith does not mean we understand everything, because human reason is limited and God's wisdom is infinite. St Josemaria talked about this in Santiago, Chile, July 7, 1974.

St Josemaria explains that when one of the baptized tries to be better, through the Communion of Saints he or she is doing good to the whole Church.
