Opus Dei

A new book on Josemaria Escriva, Profiles of the Founder, was unveiled in the convention hall of the diocese of Cologne recently. The same day more than 3,000 people attended a Mass celebrated by Cardinal Meisner in the Cologne cathedral in commemoration of the centennial of the birth of the Founder of Opus Dei.

An excerpt from an interview with Cardinal José Saraiva Martins, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, published in Spain's ABC. Cardinal Saraiva took part in the symposium "Witnesses of the 20th Century, Teachers of the 21st Century," which took place in Seville on April 8th.

More than 500 people took part in a series of talks and panel discussions on the family, organized by the Family Development Institute of Kianda School in Nairobi, as a way of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the school and also commemorating the centennial of the birth of Blessed Josemaria.
