Patron: St. Josemaría Escrivá
From the Father’s February 24, 2026, message:
The Holy Father, in his Message for Lent 2026, suggests: "Let us strive to measure our words and cultivate kindness and respect in our families, among our friends, at work, on social media, in political debates, in the media and in Christian communities. In this way, words of hatred will give way to words of hope and peace." Let us join in this desire of the Holy Father, striving to be instruments of unity and sowers of peace and joy in every setting.
From the Father’s March 19, 2026, message:
May Christ, the Prince of Peace, have mercy on our world; may his grace console those who are suffering and transform the hatred in many hearts into sentiments of love and forgiveness.
Let us pray for peace at Holy Mass and when praying the Holy Rosary. We could also meditate on how we can be instruments of unity and sowers of peace and joy, as St. Josemaría so often encouraged us to be.
Each of us could reflect on how to reach out frequently to those around us through the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. We might also consider inviting family members and friends to join us in serving people in need.
