Fr Ralph Valdes is the Regional Vicar, based in Singapore, and has held this role since the region’s establishment.

Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Fr Ralph has been a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei since May 2013. He holds a degree in Economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey (2005) and completed his Philosophical and Theological studies at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, where he earned a Doctorate in Philosophy in 2015.

From 2009 to 2021, he worked in Rome as an official in the Curia of the Prelature of Opus Dei. He later served in the former Region of Southeast Asia as a member of the Regional Commission and was involved in pastoral work, especially with youth.
