Nearly 3,000 students will gather in Rome from 13 to 20 April to celebrate Holy Week during the Jubilee Year. Now in its 57th edition, UNIV also offers a series of cultural events reflecting on this year’s theme: “Citizens of Our World.”

28 March 2025 marks the hundredth anniversary of St. Josemaría’s ordination to the priesthood. Liturgical and academic events have been organized in Zaragoza, Perdiguera, and Rome. We also share a commemorative card, available to download in several languages.

Blessed Alvaro liked to “visit” Mary by praying the rosary while walking or traveling to a specific Marian shrine or even simpler places with her image. During the years he lived in Rome, he discovered many lesser-known sanctuaries of popular devotion around the city.

After the general audience on April 16, a group of university students from UNIV presented Pope Francis with hundreds of letters written by elderly people and orphans from all over the world.
