The Josemaría Escrivá Research Center (CEJE), which celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in October, is entering a period of expansion and renewal. Founded in the 1990s as a bibliographic repository on Josemaría Escrivá and Opus Dei, it now combines documentation, research, and outreach with an increasingly international scope.

Interview with Fernanda Zaidan Lopes, a chemistry graduate (Brazil, 1986) and chair of the Preparatory Committee for the centenary Opus Dei (2028-2030) for the past four years. In a conversation with “Mundo Cristiano” in Rome, she explains the nature of her work and the main challenges of this international project.

On 2 October 1928, St. Josemaría Escrivá saw what God was asking of him: to remind women and men that holiness is possible in the middle of ordinary life. That message continues to “light up the pathways of the earth” nearly a century later.

In this episode of “Fragments of History,” we explore the life of Aurora Nieto Funcia. She was a strong woman, a teacher and mother of three, widowed at the age of 28. In 1945, she discovered her vocation in Opus Dei as a path of dedication and encounter with God. She is considered the first supernumerary, and her story illuminates what it means to seek holiness in ordinary life.

"In the Footsteps of Christ: A Saxum Experience" was launched in Punlaan School. It features the reflections of 50 women on various Holy Sites they visited in Israel.
