I prayed the prayer for private devotion to ask for the intercession of Encarnita Ortega when I did my studies in Masters in Marriage and Family from 2015 to 2017. I obtained the Masters degree for having completed the required works. These days I have not been too diligent in my prayer for the intercession of Encarnita. Nevertheless, I certainly continue to pray to all of our intercessors collectively.
These days of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) gave me the opportunity to inquire about other Masteral studies. I submitted requirements just in case I may be able to enroll in a university in the USA.
On April 24, Maite (a friend of Encarnita), who lives in Valladolid (Spain), sent me an invitation to help them celebrate the centenary of Encarnita's birth by recalling the favors granted through her intercession. Well, a few HOURS later ... the same day, on April 24th, the University in the US that I had applied to sent me an email telling me that I was accepted in the MA Theology course.
Suddenly, I realized that this was Encarnita giving me encouragement once again to take the bold and courageous step towards deepening my knowledge and understanding of Church teachings at a MASTERS level.
I thank God for all these opportunities that include having an intercessor in heaven. At the same time, I thank God for our family in Opus Dei here in the world, especially during these days of a global pandemic.
