Opus Dei

Twenty-five years after it opened its doors, Whitesands School Lekki has placed its boys under the mantle of Our Lady with the blessing of a new Marian grotto by the Archbishop of Lagos, Alfred Adewale Martins.

Whitesands students, alone, or teaming up with their friends, went for charity visits with the support of their families. During the visits, they spent time with the needy and rendered some service, especially manual work.

Some faithful of Opus Dei together with some Cooperators and others, some of whom are non-Christians carry out in each country educational, social and cultural projects which are aimed at providing service and formation. These include schools, hospitals, universities and centres of professional formation
