Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz, Prelate of Opus Dei

Message from the Prelate (4 November 2018)

The Prelate reminds us with Scripture that "our hope is in heaven," a truth we should contemplate during the month of November.

We have begun the month of November by celebrating the Solemnity of All Saints, and the following day, the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. These dates remind us that our hope is in heaven (cf. Col 1:5), a hope that illuminates our steps on earth. This hope tells us that the world in which we live will one day be transformed into “new heavens and a new earth ...

"Generously support the Pope’s petition to pray the Rosary"

The Prelate encourages "all members of the Work, cooperators and those who take part in its apostolic work to generously support this desire of the Pope, and to extend this invitation to many other friends, beseeching our Mother Holy Mary and Saint Michael the Archangel to protect the Church."
