Over seven days, the Prelate of Opus Dei met with hundreds of people.

July 25 was the last full day of the Prelate's trip to Nigeria. At 9.50 am he arrived at the Institute for Industrial Technology (IIT), a social welfare project set up to provide technical skills to out-of-school young people.

On Tuesday July 24, the Prelate travelled from Lagos to meet other faithful of Opus Dei and their friends.

Helping highly placed people to be professionally competent and virtuous have the same benefits of an ice-capped mountain, which with the appearance of the sun, melts and waters the valleys below.

With reference to the forthcoming Synod on the vocation of young persons, the Prelate held up the example of the young Apostle John, explaining that many young people have the supernatural and natural maturity to make commitments.

On day three of his visit to Nigeria, the Prelate of Opus Dei met many in gatherings at the Lagoon School Lekki, and at the Lagos Business School.

In his first visit to Nigeria as Prelate he celebrated Mass in Nigeria and had several meetings.

On June 9, 2018, the decree was promulgated on the miraculous cure attributed to the intercession of Venerable Guadalupe Ortiz. On that same day, Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz sent this letter to the faithful of Opus Dei.
