World Youth Day 2023 will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 1 to 6 August. Four young Chileans talk about how they're preparing for the event.

We share the self-narrated story of Collins a young lawyer, fresh out of Law School who, despite his inexperience and lack of means, could not hold himself back from helping people in need. The sight of someone in handcuffs, the cry of a mother whose only son was about to be jailed for a petty reason, innocent people who only needed a lawyer to speak for them… these were some of the sights that elicited empathy from Collins, and he decided to help, often without invitation.

Chantal is a French lady who was born in Mali, but raised in Senegal. With apparent gusto, she narrates her encounter with the Work.

My mother thought she was having a heart attack. The prelate of the Work, who was here on those days, told me: everything will be fine. But the tests were very negative. The doctor called me. "Dagmar, I can't believe it!

Dr. Ignacio Martínez, a stomatologist, who lives in Oviedo and has his practice in Avilés, has been collaborating with Monkole Hospital in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, since August 2016. He usually stays in Kinshasa for a month, during his holiday leave, to do a social work that has been awarded by the Asturias Dentists Association.

On Saturday, 24 June 2023, a Mass to celebrate the feast of St. Josemaría Escriva, will be held in Erbil, Iraq. It will be said in Aramaic using the Chaldean liturgical rite.

Pau is a musician and painter. Through these two arts he lives a very personal relationship with God. In this video (with English subtitles) he explains how he turns each of the things he does into prayer: painting graffiti, a concert with friends… And he always enjoys it, he says, “having a great time”.
