Meditations: Some reflections that can assist our prayer during the Holy Week

Interview with Fr Jose Luis Soria about St Josemaría.

The founder of Opus Dei was ordained a priest in the chapel of his diocesan seminary. Two days later, he celebrated his first Mass in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, at the feet of the beloved Madonna he had prayed to so often.

In January 2023, a group of Badjao women completed a skills training course at the Banilad Center for Professional Development, a technical-vocational school established by members of Opus Dei in Cebu, Philippines, to improve their job prospects and support their families. The Eucharist makes Jesus Christ present. He invites us to accept the salvation that He offers us, and to receive the gift of His Body and Blood as the food of eternal life. Our Lord announced the Eucharist during his public life and instituted this sacrament at the Last Supper. When the Church celebrates this sacrament, she follows the Eucharistic rite carried out by Christ at the Last Supper.

The feast of Saint Joseph highlights for us the beauty of a faithful life. "Saint Joseph was a faithful and just man because of the love that filled his soul and made him love the paths that God’s Providence had marked out for him."
