Opus Dei

Esther Toranzo was a pioneer in many fields. She held a doctorate in Law from the Central University of Madrid. She joined Opus Dei in 1949. In 1952, she was amongst the first group of ladies who went to start the Work in England. She came to Kenya in 1965 to manage Kibondeni College, a Hospitality Institution for young women, which was in its infancy.

Kibondeni College in Kenya has been celebrating its 50th anniversary for the last 12 months with various events. Here are some of the highlights.
