Last June 26 has perpetually remained engraved in my memory because I participated in several Masses in honour of St. Josemaría in Ghana, and it was the first time I would celebrate his feast outside Nigeria. From Kigali in Rwanda to Kampala, Mbarara in Uganda and Kisumu, Homabay, Kisii, Eldoret, Rongo, Kitengela, Ongata Rongai, Kitui, Mombasa in Kenya, and Dar es salam in Tanzania, and Pretoria and Johannesburg in South Africa, and Gaborone in Botswana.

From Asturias to Kinshasa: the work of a dentist in Congo

Dr. Ignacio Martínez, a stomatologist, who lives in Oviedo and has his practice in Avilés, has been collaborating with Monkole Hospital in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, since August 2016. He usually stays in Kinshasa for a month, during his holiday leave, to do a social work that has been awarded by the Asturias Dentists Association.

First Mass of Saint Josemaria in Iraq

On Saturday, 24 June 2023, a Mass to celebrate the feast of St. Josemaría Escriva, will be held in Erbil, Iraq. It will be said in Aramaic using the Chaldean liturgical rite.
