Opus Dei

May 2nd is the anniversary of the dedication of the Church of Our Lady of Peace, the prelativ church of Opus Dei. A place of prayer housing the mortal remains of Saint Josemaría Escrivá, millions of people throughout the world turn to Saint Josemaría's intercession to gain graces of every kind from God.

A student asks whether praying when you don't feel like it is a bit hypocritical.

While commenting on the custom of praying the rosary, Saint Josemaria recalls his friendship with Sister Lucia, one of the three visionaries of Fatima. "When I was in Portugal I went to see a friend of mine whom I love very much... It was Sor Lucia. It was great hearing her talk about the Rosary."

Angel was the name of one of the bodyguards who travelled with St Josemaria during his visit to Argentina in 1974. He said what impressed him most was St Josemaria's concern for everyone around him. He said, "Meeting the Father was the best thing that ever happened to me."

Our Lady is our Mother, explains St Josemaria, and as such she teaches us how to walk in the life of faith. The video was filmed in Valencia, Spain, on November 16, 1972.
