The proclamation of the Gospel takes on different accents in each specific epoch in history. Contemplating Christ’s example can help us in our mission.

Jesus teaches us to build a relationship with God, our Father, in the New Testament. Throughout the centuries, countless people have prayed. But sometimes we are not sure how to address God, or whether He will listen to us.

For Saint Josemaria, Jesus was always the "great Friend," the one who truly understands us, since he is perfect God and perfect Man.

In "The Way of the Cross," St. Josemaria provides meditations for each of the stations of the Via Crucis, a devotion much cherished by the Church. These meditations are especially suited to help find paths to holiness in the ordinary circumstances of everyday life.

This morning, the prelate of Opus Dei met with faithful of the prelature in Rome. It was the anniversary of the ordination of the prelature's first three priests, and also an occasion to celebrate Saint Josemaria's feast day.
