On Wednesday the 26th, Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz visited the University of Montevideo and, in the afternoon, met with university students and young professionals who had come from various parts of Uruguay and other countries in the region.

He spent six days in Guatemala, from 4 to 9 August. One theme came up in nearly every gathering: that happiness requires a heart in love, not necessarily an easy life. Having met with priests, young people, university students, and families in Guatemala, Msgr. Ocáriz now continues his pastoral trip on to Honduras and El Salvador.

On the occasion of his trip to Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Uruguay, the Prelate of Opus Dei invites us to reflect on unity and diversity within the Work, seen in the light of charity.

Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz spent close to a month in Pamplona. Before returning to Rome, he took part in a gathering attended by thousands of people, mostly families connected with Opus Dei’s apostolic activities in Navarre, the Basque Country, La Rioja, and Soria. It was held last Thursday, 23 July, at the University of Navarre’s sports center.
