Guadalupe: Mexico
Born in Madrid, Guadalupe Ortiz de Landázuri met Saint Josemaria in 1944 and decided to dedicate her life to finding God in her professional work and spreading the message of the universal call to holiness. In 1950, Saint Josemaria asked Guadalupe to help start Opus Dei's apostolic work in Mexico. With initiative and trust in God, she helped many people find joy, through her work, her close friendships, and through the centers of Christian formation, including domestic work and by promoting social projects.
