Life in the developing world is often marked by a lack of access to basic health care, education and the necessities for human dignity.
Within the array of efforts to improve this situation, some people have been inspired by the message of St. Josemaria, the founder of Opus Dei. They bring to life his message of finding God in work, seeking to improve the human and spiritual condition of people in need.
Sowers of Peace and Joy will feature speakers from Africa, Asia and South America who will describe ongoing work in their countries based on this message. In addition, Canadians who participated in or benefited from these efforts will discuss their experiences.
