Numeraries and associates commit themselves to make available all their earnings over and above personal expenses. Other faithful of the Prelature and cooperators make whatever donations they can. This way of showing their appreciation for what they receive makes it possible for more people to benefit from the same help. Their donations are spread to a variety of foundations whose aims, among others, are to endorse the activities promoted by members of Opus Dei. There are no minimum or expected donation requirements. People can give whatever they choose.
