My dear children: may Jesus watch over my daughters and sons for me!

In a few days, as we enter the final three years leading up to the Centenary, we will celebrate another October 2nd, the day Saint Josemaría “saw” the Work, and shortly afterwards, on October 6th, the anniversary of his canonization. Let us take advantage of these celebrations to focus our attention in a special way on our Father, with a renewed desire to learn from his life how to be and do Opus Dei.

From heaven he continues to accompany us on our path. We can be sure that nothing that happens to us, whether good or painful, is indifferent to him. I am reminded of those words, so filled with affection, that he once spoke to us: “I love you because you are children of God, because you have freely decided to be my children, because you are striving to be holy, because you are very faithful and wonderful: all my children are" (AGP, P01 1971, pg. 10).

Let us go to his intercession with great confidence, knowing that he is always listening to us and accompanying us.

And as always, let us continue being closely united to the Holy Father, now also on his apostolic journey to France.
